Are these tools dishwasher safe?
The stainless pieces are: cutters, rings, scrapers, racks and turners all take a normal cycle. Cast iron and wood-handled tools are not. Cast iron loses its seasoning to detergent and wood swells and splits, so both get a hand wash and a dry towel. Every product page names which of the two it is.
What size biscuit cutter do I need?
For a standard American biscuit, 2.5 to 3 inches. Scones run larger, at 3 to 3.5. Sets in this range cover the span in steps, and the cutter guide has a table of diameters against what people usually bake with them.
Why does a burger press need to be heavy?
Because the weight does the work: a light press has to be pushed, which tears the patty, while a heavy one is set down and left. The presses here are specified by weight in pounds on every card, and the griddle guide explains the trade against a bacon press.
What is a bench scraper actually for?
Dividing dough, lifting it off the counter and scraping the counter clean afterwards, in that order. The scale printed on the blade turns it into a rough ruler for portioning. It replaces a knife for everything except cutting, and it does not blunt.
Will cast iron rust in my kitchen?
It will if it is left wet. Cast iron in this range arrives pre-seasoned, and the care guide covers what keeps that layer alive: dry it on the hob, wipe a film of oil, store it somewhere with air. That is the whole ritual.
Why do different set sizes of one tool show the same rating?
Because buyer reviews are pooled per design: every set size of one cutter feeds the same rating. It belongs to the design rather than the individual set, so we show it once and say so instead of multiplying it across variations.
